A Covid Night's Dream

An Open Air Comedy for Family Audience.

The trouble with Shakespeare is that his plays / work were never written to be read like an ordinary story book. His plays were written to be performed. And so we have created our version of A Covid Night's Dream based on the current pandemic situation with social distancing in mind. In this play, we explore the three plot lines in three separate parts - the lovers - the fairies and the rude mechanics (silly men trying to put on a play). Played by two actors with the help of puppets and the public from a distance, we explore the confusing farcical events as they unfold.
